Introduction to the Program - Nonviolence Education.com specializes in educational programs in the areas of Anger Management, Family Violence, Parenting, Animal Abuse and Post Traumatic Stress issues. Our goal for our students is the development of non-violent life skills. Developing non-violent life skills includes the removal of physically, emotionally and verbally abusive styles. Our programs encourage students to interact frequently with skill support trainers and requires a certain amount of one on one interaction as part of our testing procedures.
All programs have been developed by Lorraine Watson, MS, MFT. Lorraine is a licensed Marriage and Family therapist. She has been running these same programs in a classroom setting for over 15 years. She has treated thousands of court ordered and volunteer students. She has developed and oversees all activities on our website. She is actively involved in the progress of all of the site's students.
Our online programs have been carefully designed to assure that the student has a true working knowledge of the subject material. Our testing process includes not only true/false questions, but also numerous open-ended exercises which require that the student demonstrate that they can apply what they have learned. Students will be held back and worked with one on one if they do not demonstrate this. Our commitment is to learning and true behavior change.
Nonviolence Education.com is open to answering any additional questions the court may have about our programs, either by email or phone. Please contact us by phone at 760-729-8310 or email us at nonviolenceeducation@gmail.com
Reporting provided to Court - We provide progress reports to the courts upon request plus a completion report once we have ascertained that the student has satisfactorily completed all of our requirements. We have a system by which we verify that the court ordered individual actually took the course.

-
Skills support trainers are always available for questions by phone or email.
-
In most cases a higher level of learning is achieved. This is because a student's progress is being assessed as they move through the program. If a student is not doing well on the tests in one area, they will be stopped and worked with personally on that area until they demonstrate adequate understanding. Students with less understanding cannot as easily slip by as they can in a group. Each student is assessed as to their comprehension on all areas of the program before they are allowed to successfully complete.
Thank you for your consideration of our program. Again please contact us with any questions you might have.
